Dark Chocolate Almonds

Slightly salted dark chocolate coated Italian almonds, made by the talented team of chocolate makers in Falmouth.

As always, our process starts with incredible cocoa beans grown with care and attention by the all female cooperative in the Virunga National Park, Congo. We roast, crack and winnow, grind, refine and conch the beans into chocolate, before aging it in giant blocks. We have a giant copper panner which is used to coat the chocolate around the outside of the nuts, in our factory full of incredible machines, this is one of the most striking. The nuts tumble around in the chocolate as it sets, leaving them polishing against each other to leave an even layer of chocolate around the nut.

They are finished with a dusting of our own pressed cocoa powder.

A wonderful alternative to a bottle of wine, perfect for sharing or snacking on yourself over a few sittings. One thing is for sure, pop these open at a dinner party and you are sure to impress.

The challenge is not to eat them all at once!
