Shop Assistant / Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

As a shop assistant in our Falmouth shop, you’ll be the friendly face of our store, assisting customers, managing stock, and ensuring the shop is always tidy and welcoming. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Operating the till and handling payments
  • Assisting with product display and stock management

The ideal candidate will also be passionate about both written and visual communication, detail-oriented, strategic, and creative. They should have a genuine interest in understanding customer behaviour and a drive to stay current with the constantly evolving media landscape.

Email marketing:

  • You should be proficient in using Mailchimp
  • You are responsible for creating and sending campaigns. This should be inline with an evolving strategy for email marketing (number of campaigns sent, flows, segmentation etc.)
  • Managing customer lists and segments. Reducing bounce rate and non-openers while maximizing the impact of customer segmentation for specific campaigns

 Social Media:

  • Content creation (copy-writing, photography & video) and scheduling output in line a social & marketing strategy 

Details:

  • 3/4 days a week (extra shifts available for cover and during holidays & busy periods)
  • Weekend & holiday availability is essential
